Autoflowering ABC for Stealth and Decorative Growing
Bastard Ryder auto regular seeds carry a fully stabilized Australian Bastard Cannabis mutation in an autoflowering hybrid from the Doctor’s Choice × mutantfarmer Be a Breeder collection. The strain combines the distinctive ABC leaf with the speed and compactness of Joint Doctor’s Lowryder autoflowering genetics.
Welcome to ABC
The Australian Bastard Cannabis (ABC) mutation was first described in wild hemp populations of New South Wales in the 1970s. The trait is recessive: the ABC leaf is small and glossy, lacks the serration characteristic of cannabis, and has thin palmate segments—closer in shape to clover, boxwood, or a succulent than to a classic fan leaf. Plants stay short and dense, with many thin, flexible branches. This morphology makes the bush resemble an ornamental shrub rather than cannabis.
Drunken Bastard from 7East Genetics is one of the few fully stabilized ABC lines, with every phenotype expressing the mutation. Bastard Ryder crosses this mother line with Lowryder IBL—the world’s first high-THC autoflower, created by Joint Doctor. The result is a compact autoflower with ABC leaves and tolerance to stress and mold. The line is stabilized to F5: leaf shape, plant structure, aroma, and flowering time are predictable within acceptable phenotypic variation.
Aroma & Flavor
The terpene profile comes from the Drunken Bastard mother line—described by 7East as blueberry, citrus, and melon over an earthy-musky base. In this hybrid, the profile is concentrated and paired with Lowryder’s faster cycle. Among the expressed phenotypes, a bright berry-fruity-sour aroma with a blueberry note dominates. Some plants add a sharp garlic-sour side characteristic of the Drunken Bastard lineage, sitting at the funkier end of the profile. Citrus and the earthy base remain in the background. The buds are dense and heavily coated with trichomes, and the aroma remains after curing.
ABC Leaf for Stealth Growing
The plant doesn’t read as cannabis: the ABC leaf and overall bush shape disguise the strain as a decorative or garden plant. This makes Bastard Ryder auto regular a choice for stealth growing on balconies, terraces, and in open gardens, as well as guerrilla growing outdoors where standard cannabis forms attract attention.
In regions where cultivation is legal, the strain can also serve as a genuine ornamental plant. Its compact, dense structure, unusual foliage, and possible purple hues in cool weather make it stand out in a garden.
Based on its parental genetics—Drunken Bastard (indica-dominant ABC) × Lowryder (indica-dominant auto)—we estimate the effect as balanced and body-leaning. Bastard Ryder auto regular seeds are suited to collectors, stealth growers, guerrilla growers, and fans of unusual genetics.
Available in Two Varieties
Regular—for breeders and phenohunters. Males carry the stabilized ABC and autoflowering combination, making them valuable breeding material.
Feminized—for growers who want a fully female run without sexing.
