The project began with an original Chronic male from Serious Seeds and Chronic Ryder from Sasha Joint Doctor’s private collection. We combined these genetics to create Chronic Fast F1 BX Regular.
Next, we crossed two Chronic Ryder F3 lines, L1 and L2. Both lines descended from the same parents. Although the resulting generation might appear to be F4, that label would not accurately describe the cross. Instead, breeders call this process interline breeding: crossing two distinct lines.
Over several generations, this approach produced a fully autoflowering Chronic Ryder. In turn, the selection process improved key traits by 25% compared with its parents.
Today, growers can choose Chronic Ryder BX in both feminized and regular varieties.
Chronic Ryder BX inherits desirable qualities from both parent lines. It develops into a uniform, compact plant that reaches approximately 30–60 cm indoors and 60–100 cm outdoors. Therefore, it can suit small grow spaces, terraces, balconies, and discreet setups.
The plant forms a dominant central cola with only a few side branches. After approximately 65–70 days from seed, it produces large, dense buds rich in resin. As harvest approaches, a pleasant fruity aroma becomes increasingly noticeable.
Moreover, its short life cycle and natural resilience make Chronic Ryder BX a practical outdoor option for regions with short summers.
Under favorable conditions, indoor yields can reach approximately 400 g/m². Meanwhile, outdoor plants can produce around 30–85 g each.
Chronic Ryder BX combines fruity and citrus flavors with a noticeable apricot note. Together, these elements create a sweet, refreshing profile and a pleasant finish.
Its balanced effect feels relatively mild and does not hit like a hammer. Moreover, an upbeat, giggly high develops alongside gentle physical relaxation. As a result, Chronic Ryder BX can suit relaxed daytime use.
